Heroin Charges at Pine Street Inn
The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Charges listed do not indicate convictions.
A man was charged with possession of heroin in the South End on Monday evening.
Boston Police were on patrol when they noticed a man and a woman sitting on the steps of 55 Sullivan Way near a “No Trespassing” sign around 6:15 p.m. As the officers approached, the man reportedly put something behind his back and the woman reportedly dropped a clear plastic bag.
The officer grabbed the man by the wrist and observed a plastic bag of brown powder, police said. The woman immediately shouted, “That’s mine, it’s all mine,” according to police. When the officer asked what she was talking about, the woman replied, “The heroin, it’s mine,”
Officers arrested Kenny Rivie, 444 Harrison Avenue, Boston, and charged him with possession of a Class A substance and trespassing. Officers told the woman that she would be summoned to Boston Municipal Court for the same charges.
