Search for Missing Brown Student Expanded to Boston

Sunil Tripathi, a 22 year old student at Brown University went missing last Saturday, March 16 around 11:00 a.m. He was last seen on the East Side of Providence, although the search has expanded to Boston, Connecticut, New York, and Philadelphia.

“Sunil could be anywhere,” said his mother Judy Tripathi.

He was wearing a pair of blue jeans, a black Eastern Mountain Sports ski jacket, glasses, and a Philadelphia Eagles wool hat. He is six feet tall and weighs 130 pounds.

‘He’s my best friend,” said Sunil’s older sister Sangeeta.  “He’s very quiet and humble.”  Family and friends are working with the Providence Police and the Brown University Department of Pubic Safety to find Sunil. The FBI has joined the greater Providence community to assist in the investigation.
