Pet of the Week: Lily Mae the ‘Couch Potato’ Cat

Posted on April 14, 2013

Lily Mae the cat is looking for a new home. Could it be yours?

Looking to adopt a pet? Now up for adoption at the Animal Rescue League of Boston is Lily Mae.

Lily Mae is a sweetheart of a cat with a gentle and mellow personality. She is a two-year old spayed female and is at the shelter due to landlord restrictions of her previous home. She loves to have her back and shoulders scratched, and also loves to be brushed! She would be a great fit for a quiet home, and would best be described as a “couch potato” girl! She is a darling companion who does not need a lot of action and attention to be happy – give her a soft bed and she’s good to go…and she’ll never turn down a crunch cat treat!

For more information on Lily Mae or any of the other animals currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call 617-226-5602. The Animal Rescue League of Boston is open Tuesday through Thursday 1- 7 p.m. and Friday through Sunday 1-4 p.m., excluding some holidays. For more information, see their website, Twitter and Facebook page.
