PHOTOS: Explosions at Boston Marathon

Runners were diverted along Comm. Ave from Kenmore Square.

After two bombs went off near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday afternoon, thousands of police officers poured into the area beween Kenmore and Copley Squares to evacuate the Back Bay area. 

Police confirmed on Monday evening that two were killed and more than 20 people were injured from the two blasts.
