Boston police executed a Federal Court search warrant at 4 Westminster Street at 8:15 p.m. on Monday, May 20.
Officers saw their target park across the street from his address in a rented Nissan Altima. The police had reason to believe that a drug deal was about to take place.
Officers approached the vehicle and had to forcefully remove the one of the suspects from the driver’s seat. Another suspect in the passenger seat got out peacefully.
An ATF Agent involved in the investigation spotted a large bag of crack cocaine in a plastic bag on the floor of the passenger seat. Officers arrested the passenger.
Melody Pearson of 85 Appleton Street, Malden was charged with trafficking cocaine.
