Missing South End Pug Found in Scituate

Posted on June 12, 2013

Winston the pug went missing in the South End on June 11, 2013.

The dog that went missing on Tuesday in the South End has been found and was reunited with his owner.

Winston, a small pug, escaped from his dog walker on Tuesday afternoon in the area of Washington Street near Blackstone/Franklin Parks, speficially on East Springfield Street in the South End.

While a community-wide search effort ensued, Winston had apparently been picked up by a group of construction workers and taken home with one to Scituate while attempting to determine who owned the dog, according to his dog walker.

He was reunited with his owner on Wednesday.

Thanks to everyone who helped to get the message out to friends and neighbors!
