Every incumbent who faced a challenger survived. Democratic turnout ran 106,000 ahead of 2022 and Republican turnout ran 20,000 behind. Four races still have no winner.

Twenty votes separate Brownsberger and Lander. Fourteen separate the candidates in the 9th Bristol. Nobody gets a recount unless they ask, and the window closes Thursday afternoon.

Rachael Rollins finished third. Kevin Hayden fell 111 votes short of a majority and won by more than 24 points, and with no Republican on the ballot the nomination decides the office.

The fastest-acting question on the ballot takes a zoning power from every city and town about thirty days after the election. It is also the most straightforwardly industry-funded measure of the nine.

Closings begin Wednesday. The defense built two weeks around the absence of a threat, and the statute Tompkins is charged under does not require one.
