Pet of the Week: Isabelle, Affectionate 5-Year-Old Cat
Looking to adopt a pet? Now up for adoption at the Animal Rescue League of Boston is Isabelle. What a sweetie! Isabelle is a 5-year-old spayed female that couldn’t go with her owners when they moved. She’ll come right up to you in her cage, so she can show you how affectionate she is. If you lean in toward her, she’ll place her head very gently against your forehead, it is the cutest thing to see and experience. Having lived in an active house with a young child and another cat, so she may be a good fit in another similar home situation. She’s even used to having her claws trimmed by her humans (ask any cat owner, this is no small feat!) She loves a variety of toys and people. Come meet her today and she’ll prove it to you! Pet of the Week: Coco, 5-Year-Old Pit Bull Mix
Looking to adopt a pet? Now up for adoption at the Animal Rescue League of Boston is Coco. Coco is an independent, 5-year-old pit bull mix who was found as a stray in Franklin County. He enjoys playing with other large dogs, though he does prefer the ladies to the males here in our playgroup. Coco has high prey drive, so he should not go home with small dogs, cats or other small critters. He walks nicely on an easy walk harness, knows some of his basic commands and seems to be housebroken. He is a laid back guy looking for a couch of his own. If you’re looking for a handsome pittie to add to your family, Coco is definitely your guy! For more information on Coco or any of the other animals currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call 617-226-5602. The Animal Rescue League of Boston is open Tuesday through Thursday 1- 7 p.m. and Friday through Sunday 1-4 p.m., excluding some holidays.
