Fun and The Shins Headlining Boston Calling Music Festival at City Hall Plaza
Get your tickets now for the Boston Calling Music Festival because they will be selling out! Popular groups like Fun, The Shins, Of Monsters and Men, for a total of 18 music acts that your grandma has never heard of – will hit the Boston City Hall Plaza stage on the weekend of May 25-26. The full lineup includes several acts scheduled to perform at the Boston Calling Music Festival. The festival is a two-day, two-stage event with access to both stages, food, services and more. All ages are welcome and children younger than 10 are free. Boston Calling is a rain or shine event, so only in the event of a state wide emergency that forces Boston Calling to be canceled, will all tickets purchased in advance be refunded. Ticket sales start Friday, March 8 and be purchased here with prices varying from single days passes for $ 75, weekend passes for $ 130, and VIP tickets for $ 185 for a single day or $ 350 for the weekend. Things to Know in the South End Today, March 5: Calling All Foodies
1. Taste of the South End: Expect to see South End favorites like Myers & Chang, Hamersly’s Bistro, Tremont 647,Aquitaine, B&G Oysters and other neighborhood favorites at the annual Taste of the South End at Cyclorama at the Boston Center for the Arts. 2. Street Sweeping Starting: It’s time to sign up for No Tow alerts again, because street sweeping has begun in the South End again as of March 1st. The South End is again part of an expanded sweeping program that includes the months of March and December, weather conditions permitting. See here for more information. NOTE: Due to weather, street sweeping has been postponed for this week, until March 11th. 3. Piano Singalong: Pianist Michelle Currie will lead a piano singalong tonight in the Napoleon Room at Club Cafe beginning at 8 p.m. 4. Walk for Charity: To register for the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk on Sept. 8, or to support a walker, visit JimmyFundWalk.org or call (866) 531-9255.
