Dunkin’ Donuts Customers Raise $467K for One Fund Boston
Dunkin’ Donuts customers across New England donated more than $ 467,000 to the One Fund Boston. While getting their cup of joe or donuts, customers deposited money at registers at more than 2,000 Dunkin’ Donuts franchises in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New York and Maine, according to the Dunkin’ Donuts’ website. “I am so grateful to our franchisees, employees and guests who came together to support The One Fund Boston,” wrote Nigel Travis, CEO of Dunkin’ Donuts. “In addition, Dunkin’ Brands and The Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation together donated an additional $ 200,000 to the The One Fund Boston.” During a week-long collection, the Canton-based company was able to raise money for those most affected by the Boston Marathon bombings, which is what the One Fund Boston is going towards.
