Things to Know in the South End, June 24: Québec Fête at Beehive
1. Weather: The National Weather Service is predicting a sunny day, with a high near 90 degrees. There’s a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. 2. Quebec National Day at Beehive: To celebrate “La Fête nationale du Québec” or “Quebec National Day” Beehive Restaurant will be featuring an evening of inspired food and live performance from award-winning singer-songwriters Isabelle Cyr and Yves Marchand. Dinner starts at 5 p.m., and music starts at 8 p.m. The evening’s food will feature traditional Quebec fare and cocktails. See here for more information. 3. For the Kids: Urbanity Dance, (280 Shawmut Ave) is hosting a variety of summer kids dance classes, with everything from hip hop to a summer intensive program for kids 16 and older.
