Police: Woman Arrested on Drug Charge at Boston Medical Center

A resident of the Pine Street Inn was arrested on Monday night on drug charges, according to police. Boston Medical Center Department of Public Safety Special State Police Officers responded to narcotics activity at the entrance of 850 Harrison Avenue at about 11 a.m. on June 10. Through a security camera, officers allegedly observed a woman hand $ 10 to a person, who handed her an orange pill. The woman then put the pill in a small orange pill bottle. Officers stopped the woman and searched her. According to police, they found her in possession of Suboxone pill. Officers also found a black folding knife with a blade longer than three inches, they said. Luis Baez of 444 Harrison Avenue was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B substance. Police: Fight on West Newton Leads to Drug Arrest

Police who responded to a fight in the South End ended up arresting two men, one on drug charges and one for disturbing the peace. Boston Police officers responded to a fight in the area of West Newton Street and St. Botolph Street at about 4:25 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, according to police. Officers stopped a group of 10 men on the Southwest Corridor at Newton Street and began to frisk each person. Police reported that one of the men frisked had a lump in his left pants pocket, which he reportedly told police was a “bag of rice.” The officer told the man to take the bag out of his pocket. According to police, the suspect pulled out a large bag of rice packaged with smaller bags of heroin. Officers also found a digital scale and $ 208 in cash. Officers placed Lamar Joel Stanford of 430 Columbus Ave. under arrest and charged him with possession of a Class A substance with intent to distribute. While interviewing the suspect, another man began to yell and cause a disturbance. Police said they told the man to keep his voice down, but he refused. Police: Heroin Overdose Leads to Drug Arrest at Boston Medical Center

Boston Police arrested a homeless man at Boston Medical Center on drug charges on Friday after a woman he was with requested medical attention. Polie said they received a call for a medical emergency at 830 Harrison Ave at 5:15 p.m. on Friday, May 31st. When police arrived, they reported seeing three men in the waiting room who were reportedly worried about the wellbeing of a woman who may have overdosed on heroin. Upon interviewing the men, police said they determined they had come to Boston Medical Center to inject heroin. The woman reportedly felt sick after injecting and needed medical attention. Upon a search of the men’s backpacks, police found found two hypodermic needles and a tourniquet. In a side pocket, officers found 23.5 white pills identified as Seroquel. According to the police report, this address is known as an area where heavy drug usage and dealings take place. Boston Police arrested Michael Cardin of 794 Massachusetts Ave., the Woods-Mullen Shelter, and charged him with possession of a Class E substance with intent to distribute. Woman Charged with Drug Possession at Boston Medical Center

A Boston woman was arrested and charged with drug possession at the Boston Medical Center campus over the weekend after allegedly tresspassing and giving police a fake name. Police responded to Boston Medical Center at 3 a.m. on Sunday for a report of a person doing drugs at 840 Harrison Ave. When police arrived, they reportedly found multiple syringes in the area. Police interviewed a woman they suspected to be involved, who said she had no medical reason to be at Boston Medical Center, police said. During the interview, the woman allegedly gave a fake name to police. The woman, Loralie Fuller, of 39 Boylston St., was arrested and charged with tresspassing. During a search, officers reportedly found an unmarked pill bottle with dozens of Ibuprofen 800mg pills. When asked where she got these, Fuller told police, “I got them from a friend. They aren’t mine,” according to the report. Using Fuller’s real name, police learned that she had two outstanding default warrants out of Boston District Court for drug possession charges, and another warrant out of Fitchburg District Court for shoplifting. Police Nab Two for Alleged Drug Deal on Newland Street

Police arrested two Boston men on Saturday for a drug deal in the South End allegedly witnessed by police. Police said they had been patrolling the Tremont Street and Massachusetts Avenue areas when around 10 p.m., they noticed two men standing near Tremont Street and Rutland Square. Police said both men were looking around nervously in different directions, walking up and down Newland Street and acting suspicious. As officers continued to watch, they said one of the men met up with a third man near West Newton Street. Police said they saw money and a small bag exchange hands. Officers arrested Mathew Reese of 1046 Thorn Street, Mattapan and XXX XXX of XX Symphony Road and charged both with possession of a Class B substance. Police: Man Charged with Drug Possession, Attempting to Break into Car on Harrison Ave
Boston Police observed a man looking into the windows of a blue Volvo while trying to open the front driver’s side door on Harrison Avenue at about 1:55 a.m. on April 27. The officer asked the suspect what was going on. The suspect reportedly turned around and looked frightened. The suspect reportedly started speaking rapidly. The officer thought that the suspect might try to make a run for it. The suspect stated that the vehicle belonged to his girlfriend. The suspect stated that he had just gotten off work and was looking to meet his girlfriend there. The suspect then told officers that he was off of his medications and that his girlfriend was on her way with the medication. According to the police, the suspect’s story continued to change. During his conversation with the officer, the suspect continued to place his hands in his pockets after the officer asked that he keep his hands in plain sight. The officer decided to search the suspect and preformed a pat and frisk. The officer found a pill bottle in the suspect’s pocket. The suspect told the officer that this was his medication. The officer investigated the pill bottle and found 15 Suboxone and Promethazine. Officers arrested Mathew Walsh of 425 Beale Street, Milton, and charged him with attempting to break into a vehicle and possession of a Class B substance. South End Patch

Drug Investigation Prompts Arrest on Harrison Avenue
The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Charges listed do not indicate convictions. A drug investigation lead to an arrest on Harrison Avenue on Saturday evening. Boston resident Peter Monzi, of 784 Mass. Ave., was charged with multiple drug charges after police say they saw him buying heroin. Police conducted a drug investigation in the area of 881 Harrison Ave. on Saturday, March 30 at 6:15 p.m. Officers said they watched Monzi speak with two people on Harrison Ave, then walk down towards East Lenox Street and stop outside of 889 Harrison Ave. Officers said they then witnessed a hand-to-hand drug transaction. Police said Monzi returned to the area of 881 Harrison Ave. and sat on the ground with a syringe in one hand and a plastic cup with heroin in the other. Officers confronted Monzi and placed him under arrest. The suspect told officers that he had traded a $ 36 gift card for heroin with one of the unknowns in the group moments earlier. Police also found three round purple pills, which Monzi said were vitamins. The pills turned out to be Bupropion, a Class E substance. Officers arrested Monzi and charged him with possession of a Class A substance and with three outstanding warrants from New Bedford and Fall River District Court. Man Arrested on Drug Warrants in the South End
The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Charges listed do not indicate convictions. A Roxbury man was arrested in the South End for two drug related warrants. Boston Police Officers served an arrest warrant to Bradley Fuller of 45 Howard St. at 2 Ditmus Court at 11 a.m. on March 26. Officers served a default warrant out of Roxbury District Court for Possession of Class E, Possession of Class A and trespassing. There was a second warrant out of Roxbury District Court for Possession of a Class A substance with intent to distribute, Possession of Class B, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and trespassing. The warrant pertained to a report from July 21, 2012. At 5:53 p.m., officers responded to a report of trespassing, drug activity, drug use, alcohol consumption in public, and urinating in public near Dearborn Street. When officers arrived, they detained the suspect and arrested him for trespassing. Police said they also a needle with what appeared to be heroin in it.
